Senator Bob Casey of Pennsylvania recently voted against an effort to reinstate the Mexico City policy designed to deny funding for abortions overseas. Bishop Martino of Scranton in a statement on the issue has asked Sen. Casey to do the right thing as a professed Catholic and to rescind his vote which will cause the deaths of thousands of unborn children.
